Members of the Jewish Community Spruce Up CCHC!

On Sunday, May 16th, members of Temple Beth El converged upon Charlotte Community Health Clinic to complete some much-needed projects for us.  As part of the synagogue’s annual Mitzvah Day (Mitzvah means “good deed.”) event, the Temple Brotherhood and other individual congregants selected CCHC as their endeavor for the morning.  We couldn’t have been luckier!

The 12 hardworking volunteers spent over three-and-a-half hours painting eights doors, touching up walls, and cleaning various parts of the clinic that needed extra attention.  And if all of this seems like tedious, boring work, think again.  This group of Jewish neighbors had a lot of fun.  Throughout the morning there was lots of laughter and great attitudes.

CCHC extends a big “Thank You” to the Temple Beth El Team for helping make the clinic a better place to be!
